Terms of Use

Last updated: June 10, 2026

Welcome to PastPort Classroom. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply when you access our website, online interactives, illustrated e-books, teacher materials, and related digital resources (together, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Purchases & TPT

Digital products are sold through Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT). Payment, refunds, chargebacks, and purchase terms are governed by TPT’s policies, not this page. These Terms govern how you may use the online Service after a lawful purchase.

2. Who may use the Service

The Service is intended for:

  • Licensed purchasers (teachers, homeschool parents, schools that bought the product on TPT), and
  • Students or children under their supervision in a classroom or homeschool setting.

Adults are responsible for entering passcodes and supervising student use. Students do not need accounts on this site.

3. License grant

Subject to your valid TPT license and these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal educational use with your own students or children.

Unless your TPT product license expressly allows more, this license is for one educator or one homeschool household. District-wide or school-wide access requires the appropriate TPT license or a separate agreement.

4. Passcodes & access

  • Passcodes unlock content on the Service. They are confidential credentials tied to your purchase.
  • You may share access with your own students in the normal course of teaching (e.g. displaying a lesson in class). Do not publish passcodes where the public or unlicensed users can copy them.
  • Prohibited: posting passcodes on open school websites, social media, public Google Drive links, forums, or sharing them with teachers who have not purchased a license.
  • We may change, rotate, or disable passcodes if we reasonably believe they are being misused or shared in violation of these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, scrape, mirror, or bulk-download content except as allowed by your TPT license (e.g. printing student pages).
  • Reverse-engineer, bypass, or disable access controls (including guessing URLs to locked lessons).
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that harms the Service, other users, or our rights.
  • Upload malware or attempt unauthorized access to our systems.
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service outside your TPT license.

6. Intellectual property

All content on the Service — including text, illustrations, interactives, audio, layout, and software — is owned by PastPort Classroom or its licensors and protected by copyright and other laws.

Your TPT license explains what you may print, copy, or distribute offline. These Terms do not expand that license.

7. Educational content disclaimer

Materials are provided for educational support. We strive for accuracy and alignment with curriculum standards, but content may be updated, and we do not guarantee it meets every district, state, or national requirement. You are responsible for verifying suitability for your classroom or homeschool.

8. Third-party services

The Service may include or link to third-party content (for example, embedded YouTube videos, fonts, or hosting providers). Those services are subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

9. Availability & changes

We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, modify, or remove features or content to improve the curriculum or for technical reasons.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PastPort Classroom and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific PastPort product on TPT that gives access to the Service, or EUR 50, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how browser storage, cookies, and optional analytics work. It is part of your relationship with us when you use the Service.

13. Termination

We may suspend or restrict access to the Service if you violate these Terms or misuse passcodes. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability) will survive termination.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.

Disputes should first be raised through TPT messages or [email protected]. Where courts have jurisdiction, disputes shall be brought in Estonia unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Contact

Questions about these Terms: contact via Teachers Pay Teachers (your purchase message thread) or email [email protected].
